KOREAN AIR FLIGHT 801 Agana, Guam August 6, 1997 |
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is convening a pubic hearing as part of its ongoing investigation into the fatal crash of Korean Air (KAL) flight 801, which crashed into a hillside while attempting to land at Won Pat International Airport. There were 254 passengers and crew aboard the aircraft; 228 lost their lives.
